2016 Audi A4 Release Date, Interior, Price, Specs – The brand new 2016 Audi A4 is almost out and has been revealed as both an Avant estate and saloon guise as the automobile company tries to battle it out with the BMW 3 series. According to other unidentified sources, the German automaker is almost through with its initial development ahead of the Frankfurt Auto Show scheduled later this year.
Both performance and fuel economy ratings will be aided by the 2016

facilitate the shedding off of about 120 kg of unnecessary weight while
increasing the length and wheelbase to 21mm and 12 mm respectively.

The exterior of the new 2016 Audi A4 will come with necessary modifications and facelifts. Key among them will be the increment in length and wheelbase of the vehicle and reduction of weight.The increment in size will lead to a more comfortable head and knee room for the passengers. A new fresh design has been implemented on the exterior design of the new A4. According to Audi Exterior designer, Frank Rimili, he told us that there was a desire by the automobile giant to make the new car more masculine.

The seats, tablet style MMI display and steering wheel have all been redesigned, and further changes are expected with the expected addition of the refreshed Design Selection cabin. The Design Selection will bring about new interior trim colours and decorative details on both the dash and sills.Optional features that will be made available will include a 3D sound system, Apple CarPlay and LED headlamps. A new leap forward will be the autonomous Piloted Driving Technology that will be a huge selling point for the company.
The system will also be credited in achieving great fuel economy ratings for the new A4, with claims already estimating it to be up to 10%. The Piloted Driving Tech also comes with an adaptive cruise control system.
2016 Audi A4 engine
Beneath the bonnet, buyers should expect the new 2016 Audi A4 to come with a whopping seven new and revised engines. There will be three TFSI gasoline engines and four TDI diesel ones that will range from 148bhp and 272bhp to make up the alternatives.The 2L TDI Ultra engine will be leading with figures of 95g/km of carbon emissions and fuel economy ratings of 74.3 mpg while on the more bulky 2016 Audi A4 Avant, the figures will read 99g/km of carbon emissions and 70.6mpg.
Other engines will be the 1.4L TFSI gasoline engine and a higher powered new 3L TDI V6 engine. No official announcement has been made on the 2016 Audi A4 e-tron engine which is set to debut the following year on a hybrid drivetrain.
All petrol engines and 4-cylinder diesel will come equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard, also it will come with a new 7-speed S tronic which will be optional for all models.
